      Certified ScrumMaster + Innovation Games®

Leading an Agile project is radically different from conventional project management. Rather than plan, instruct and direct, the leader of a Scrum team (called a ScrumMaster) facilitates, coaches and leads.  The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course provides the foundational knowledge, principles and practices for your ScrumMaster journey.  Participants who successfully complete the course, pass the online CSM exam administered by the Scrum Alliance, and accept the license agreement are designated as Certified ScrumMasters.  This certification indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team and that you have been taught by an accredited Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) who has fulfilled the learning objectives established by the Scrum Alliance.  You will also receive a 2-year membership with the Scrum Alliance. During this interactive, dynamic two-day course, Anu Smalley (CST) and Kim Poremski (CSP) will examine each element of the Scrum framework through short, focused lectures and engaging, small group activities and problem-solving exercises.  They will also share their proven, real-world experiences, case studies and techniques for implementing Scrum and how you can be successful with Scrum. Attendees will also gain insights from the experiences of their fellow classmates. Notes: CSM exam fee is included in the cost of the course. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective. What you will learn: Understand and apply the values and pillars of Scrum. Understand and apply the values and principles of Agile. Describe each element of the Scrum framework, its purpose, and interaction with the other elements of the framework.
